Today's Appointment

I saw my doctor today. There hasn't been any cervical change. Still 1 cm dilated and I am going between 50 and 75% effaced. They strapped the heart and contraction monitors to me for about 20 minutes and the heartrates and movement of the babies were fine and there were no contractions. She did another fetal fibronectin test and unfortunately it came back positive again. We assumed it probably would but it would have been nice if it didn't! There is only a 60 percent chance that it means I will go into labor in the next 10 days. (40% chance of false positive). The doctor told me strict bed rest! I have been feeling hot and nauseous throughout the past few days and she thinks its low blood sugar. She wants me to try to get more food in me! I lost a pound this week and a pound last week, but nothing to worry about. I tend to not gain for several weeks and then gain a bunch all at once. On the way home, Adam and I swung by HEB. He went and pulled up a scooter to the car so I could shop. (Not his idea, mine - he was slightly mortified). I had a blast with it, but wished it went a little faster! We stocked up on Ensure shakes, protein bars, hard candy, and Tums. I felt like I was about 50 years older than I am! It was funny though. :) I now have appointments every Tuesday and Friday so I will update then!
